For clinical tracks, one campus visit per semester is required during your clinical semesters. The semesters that you do not have clinicals, you are not required to come to campus.

Will this program help me become a licensed nurse?
All graduate nursing programs require a minimum of a BSN for eligibility.

If you are looking to become a licensed nurse you can earn your BSN through one of these Creighton University College of Nursing programs:

  • Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)
How do I choose which track to pursue?
Apply for the track that interests you most. You can switch tracks later within the program, but only one track can be pursued at a time. If you plan to switch, it’s best to do so before clinicals begin.
How long will the program take to complete?
The DNP program typically takes 4-5 years to complete, depending on the track. The curriculum is flexible, allowing for full-time or part-time enrollment each semester. MSN programs generally take 2-3 years, while post-graduate certificates usually take 1-1.5 years.
Are online nursing programs accredited?
All of our online nursing programs – as well as our on-campus nursing programs – are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
